Gamestamp has confirmed it has partnered with GameStop to allow customers to buy games through its store.
The deal was announced on the retailer’s Twitter account with the hashtag #gamestopgamestamp and the date of 11/10/16.
“Our partnership with GameStamp is a huge milestone for our company,” the company said in a statement.
“We believe that by using GameStop as our online retailer, we will be able to offer customers a great shopping experience across all the gaming platforms they love.”
The partnership is a result of a joint agreement between Gamestart and Gamestap.
“The partnership with the Gamestamps stores is a major milestone for us, as we are a pioneer in the online gaming industry,” GameStop CEO Matt Lieberman said in the statement.
“Gamestamp’s extensive network of gaming stores and a commitment to customer loyalty is a key to our success.”
While the partnership with GAMESTOP is exciting news, we are excited to continue to expand our online game store and continue our partnership with retailers like Gamestopia and GAME, which is an important part of the overall gaming ecosystem.
“Gamestop’s online store currently has over 30,000 games and over 2.3 million games in its catalogue.
