A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman at a party at a home in New York.
The charges came just days after the man was arrested for assaulting two women at a local party in March, authorities said.
The woman, who was not identified, told police that she was assaulted in a back room at a house party on March 7 at a residence in the city’s Upper West Side.
Authorities said they found “multiple assault-type items” in the room.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was arrested after he returned home, authorities told ABC News.
The victims told authorities that they saw the suspect enter the room, put his hand on the woman’s neck, pull down her pants and begin to masturbate.
He then left the room and was spotted by one of the victims, who called 911, authorities added.
A warrant for the suspect’s arrest was issued Monday.
The NYPD’s sex crimes unit has been looking into the incident and “will continue to investigate all aspects of this matter,” the department said in a statement Monday.
Police said that investigators have not identified the woman, but the New York Daily News reports she is a resident of the Bronx.
A judge has set bail at $5 million for the man.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
