Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently told Entertainment Weekly that he’d prefer to be a part of a movie with a $1 million budget, but that doesn’t mean he’s done with the whole thing.
Speaking to EW, Johnson said he’d love to direct a sequel to “The Greatest, Greatest Show Man” franchise, and said he could be a “bigger deal than you” for doing so.
“It’s definitely the bigger deal,” Johnson said.
“I think I can make a better movie than you could, I’m more than a half of the cast.
I’m a bigger deal than your paycheck.
So that’s kind of the big question.
Is it bigger than you?
I don’t know, but I’m going to say I’m bigger than your fucking paycheck, and I think you’ll be just fine.”
While the franchise may not have a sequel in the works at this time, Johnson has said that he’s still interested in seeing the franchise reboot with a new director.
He’s also excited to get his own movie out in 2018.
