Man charged over £1million ‘accidentally’ selling sex slaves

A man has been charged with “accidentally” selling sex slavery on the internet.

The 46-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on Wednesday at his home in Luton, Greater Manchester.

A police spokesman said: “On the morning of November 29 this year, officers attended a house in Birmingham and found a man who was selling sex in his bedroom.”

A search warrant was executed and the suspect was arrested.

“Officers have now charged the man with one count of possessing a sex trafficking offence and are appealing against the arrest.”

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “This was an incident of “accidental” sales on the market.”

It is believed that the person sold a sex slave online, but the sex slave has not been recovered.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police.”
