Posted June 12, 2018 03:02:52In the next few months, we’ll be seeing a lot of new consoles and PC games on the marketplace.
But if you’re looking for a way to keep up with the latest, the gaming giant is the best option.
That’s the takeaway from the latest market research conducted by NPD Group, which found that Nvidia’s share price is now the cheapest among the major gaming brands, with a price tag of $79.99.
The company also had a $2,500 price tag on the Surface Pro 4, which is the company’s top-selling laptop, and the $1,399 Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
NPD analyst John Canfield said that while Nvidia is a great value, the company is currently at the “end of its prime” and that the market is now shifting towards more affordable options.
Nvidia’s price is actually lower than the Surface’s, but that’s mainly due to its higher price tag, Canfield noted.
The company’s share prices have historically been the most volatile in the industry, with the Surface dropping about 15% in the past year, but Nvidia has never been a bad seller.
Canfield told PCMag that the Surface is a very compelling choice for gamers who want a great gaming laptop, but there’s no doubt that there’s room for other players to gain market share.
The Surface Pro is also the only laptop to sell above $2.99 on Amazon, and that was in 2016, when the Surface was on sale for just $299.
There’s still room for Nvidia to gain more customers, and Canfield is confident that they will.
“I think it’s going to happen,” Canfield stated.
“The consumer space is still in its infancy.
